#NaturalHair & Technology Part One – Let’s Talk Twitter
Are you new to twitter?
Do you or someone you know have natural hair?
Do you want to interact with more like minded natural hair enthusiast?
Do you want to socialize and meet people with natural hair?
Do you feel overwhelmed when you enter the #naturalhair world on twitter?
If you answered yes to any of these, this post is for you.
Let’s start with the basics.
1. What is a hash tag?
A hash tag is simply a way for people to search for tweets that have a common topic. If I wanted to search for natural hair topics, you would type #naturalhair into the search bar (see below) and the results would populate (see below pic). Keep in mind that hash tags are not case sensitive, one less thing to worry about.
Below is a list of hash tags you may be interested in following: Try searching for these topics by hash tag.

2. Tweetchat, what is it?
A tweet chat is like a conference call where people get together at a particular time to talk about a particular topic. The diference is everyone is meeting infront of their own computers, ipads, or smartphones, using Twitter. The key to joining a tweetchat is to follow a particular hash tag; this way you can see all the “tweets” related to that topic. Below I have listed some tweet chats that I try to partake in. Hope I get to see you there!
