Super Healthy Banana Pancakes

 

Here’s a great alternative to pancakes – these are super healthy and made with almond flour and bananas!  Try it and let me know what you think!

Super Healthy Banana Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas
  • 1/3 cup almond meal
  • 3 eggs
  • dash of cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder

Instructions

  1. Blend all ingredients together in a food processor or blender.
  2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle over medium high heat (I use coconut oil).
  3. Pour the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake.
  4. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
  5. Add some powdered sugar and banana sliced to garnish.

    Hi Mia – thanks for looking at the recipe – you can find almond meal (or almond flour) at Trader Joes, Whole Foods, or any supermarket with that type of product. Amazingly so, it’s becoming so popular that it’s even sold on amazon!
